I try so hard to sort out the different aliens/hybrids in my head, but this one always derails my efforts. They use radiation burns with the black oil, and the make alien space ships turn invisible, but never again do they have the aliens themselves turn invisible. One of the hazards of making it up as you go along XD.<br /><br />This is one of my favorite season one episodes, in terms of mytharc ones. I also never realized that Max is the first person to say trust no one, I always assumed it was Deepthroat. Decades later and I'm still finding new things with this show. This one really cemented Scully's uncompromising dedication to Mulder.
